does anyone know of any life labs facilities within Vancouver that are great with ppl with needle phobias?

not sure where you're located, but i had a great experience with a phlebotomist at the lifelabs on broadway in kitsilano. not a needle phobia per say, but i just straight-up usually feel like i have to throw up when i get blood drawn. i don't get it but it's what my body does apparently. my GP prescribes me a couple of little ativan pills if i need to have a blood test, and i find that helps (even if just placebo effect) if that's something you're open to. otherwise, i do what others have mentioned here: mentioning your situation when you check in, and asking if you can lie down in the EKG room for it, which has always, thankfully, been accommodated for me. i always apologize, especially if i DO throw up! but they always seem grateful that they at least got a head's up? :\
