Wow. That’s a lot of stress. Seattle is expensive, but what is not anymore these days. I admire you for staying focused and sober. Your savings rate in particular is impressive. Stay the course. I [M] am into age gap relationships, so it’s disappointing that yours almost proverbially did not work out. I would want to believe that she should be leaving in a better shape than getting in. Stay the course, finish your schooling, and the break or rest may come with the right person, one day. You are a survivor, and it will take you the long way. Don’t forget to intentionally become more vulnerable with the right person, again. Good luck out there!
