Can I ask what happened with your niece? What is the right answer here for parents to deal with their children being bullied ?

Originally we brought this to the attention of the school and hoped that they would deal with it. They had an assembly about bullying and called in the parents of the bullies to attend. They kept it vague. The main bullies were brought into the office but (to spite a Zero Tolerance policy) nobody was punished. Some of the bullying stopped (filming in the change room, filming off property and posting the videos on Social Media stopped when the police came to the school).

The bullying switched to anonymous postings online. At this point a good friend of mine heard about this and sent his two daughters (large black girls) to the the school to have a word with the white, wealthy privileged bullies and the problems suddenly stopped. Not a peep from them after this.
