Filter for axolotl

I will just say. Lucky bamboos are (naturally) not a good fit in aquarium, so it can be a bit hard to make them work. And if you do get them, you constantly need to check if they rot, if they do, get them out fast, rotten plants will stimulate nitrate growth, as more of the bad bacterias need to break it down. This also brings me to my next point (this is gonna be long sory). Plants do have good benefits but all those benefits can also be reversed. Sometimes at night, they take up oxygen instead of producing it. They can also rot, or pieces of it can fall off, this will (as mentioned) also stimulate the bad bacterias to grow. Also as for axolotls, they like to just "snap" up the plant from the substrate.. This means that you´re better off with plants they can´t "snap", or perhaps hide the lowest point of the plant in rock or something. Also.. plants can be hard to care for, especially if you put them under axolotl envoirements. And if they rot.. they can be dangerous for the axolotl (indirectly, of course). So there are some things to consider, but tbh a lot of people seem to be concerned with adding extra co2, adding minerals to substrate etc. I just dump the plants down in the substrate.. and they are doing fine. Imo then sometimes people have to leave aquariums a bit more natural. I don´t believe that big water changes are good. If you have to do these big water changes to keep parametres down, then you´re doing something wrong in your tank. Anyways this go extremly off topic lol XD I just went on a rant xD, but I hope you can use some if this, if you bother to read it :P

(Once again, sorry for horrible english, I also wrote this on the fly:P)
