Hi. One of the people who posted the Mod’s convo to r/subredditdrama. Watching all of it go down in real time (for almost 3 days straight) was something out of a nightmare. I apologize to those who were affected HOWEVER the conduct of the mod after they were called out was completely out of line. 1) his points were never actually addressed- and when he tried to it was only through angry, vile comments 2) said mod kept going for 3 whole days despite those posting to other subreddits and telling him straight out we was not believed and the way he was having an outburst in a public sub WAS DEFINITELY going to be used for karma. 3) said mod initially was there to recruit but when pressed for actual details about recruiting campaign (despite this sub not having a political platform or stance) it was pointed out that it was a common tactic for fascist recruiters too- using a non political platform that uses socialist rhetoric to recruit members from usually leftist subs into a space where they absolutely denounce socialism and communism despite saying they want the common good for everyone.

Either they’re a bad fascist recruiter or just an easily angered mod. It’s not fun when your ideas are taken out of context or completely spun into a completely different ideology than they envisioned...but taking him by his exact words, you can trace the pattern in them and predict how he will answer and what he will answer to- instead of responding to comments in a clear, concise manner.
