343 directing Halo to a slow, disappointing death is one of the most soul crushing things I've ever witnessed as a gamer. I mean that was literally my identity as a teenager, the bulk of my life-long friends were made through Halo.
Fast forward to today; Halo 5 has no split-screen, yet has microtransactions. I feel horribly sorry for children who grow up pretending that abomination is their childhood. I got the real shit.
Halo Online is like heroin nostalgia, I can't get enough. Plus its "against the rules" which makes it even more appealing. However long this lasts I'll be part of it. Halo is bigger than Microsoft. This mod proves it.
