Jensen was always hesitant about destiel because the fans were freaking pushy and gross about it Cas was an Angel who was basically gender fluid and Dean was never shy when it came to sex. Meanwhile Jensen is more private which he’s allowed to be, doesn’t mean he’s a prude.
