Green Party / White Privilege - why I'm voting Green and why Dem guilt trips are garbage.

Jesus fucking Christ. Being opposed to drones is like being opposed to the Airforce having Fighters and Bombers. You can object to how they are used, but this constant demonizing of a tool is useless and will never get any mainstream support. You can make cogent arguments against how these weapons/tools have been used, you can't argue against their existence as a tool and expect to be taken seriously.

As u/AliceTheGorgon mentioned, he harps on drones because they were an issue during the primary. We are using them as a low-budget, low-accountability alternative to manned airstrikes. Whether they are one small cog or the fundamental lynchpin of our overseas operations is irrelevant. We use them to kill innocent people without accountability.

Later, he adds this in his conclusion:

I shall choose the path of least carnage and death.

What you are doing is constructing a strawman around his argument so you can tear it down and earn brownie points from your fellow Hillary sycophants. He is opposed to violence. Period.

Not to mention he writes like he's in high school.

What's this? A classic example of an ad hominem fallacy? At least, it sounds like you're attacking his writing style because it doesn't sound like it was produced by a corporate buzzword generator...

To wit, here is one of your *ahem* more florid paragraphs...

We liberal democrats absolutely must maintain the high ground when it comes to having policy that reflects current scientific understanding and is supported by the available data and consensus of experts. This anti-intellectual streak that seems to grow every election cycle is horrifying and insanely counterproductive even when they lose elections because of how much it pollutes the discourse and takes up space in the dialog where other legitimate solutions might have otherwise been considered.

In my college English classes, I seem to recall being cautioned against excessive use of vocabulary. Looking through a thesaurus to find the longest synonym for an intended meaning is not a good way to pad an essay, and not at all impressive to anyone who actually knows what is being discussed. In fact, it's downright obnoxious.

Now go crawl back under your bridge... er, I mean subreddit.
