I’m starting a new job as a physician at a nursing home that service veterans. I would like to source 75k to upgrade our electronic health records (platform I would like to have integrated is called epic).

If I personally purchased a dozen (pfalcon) RH25’s at 3800 for example and each redditor paid 4000. I would have at least 24k to put toward the upgrade.

To answer some questions, preemptively: - How come the organization isn’t paying? —-> it should be self evident

• How do we know the money is actually going to the Vets —-> I’ll document the hell out of everything and post it

• How do I know I will actually be able to get each Redditor to pay me what they promised? —-> that’s the risk I take for trying to personally fund an upgrade

• why don’t you just pay out of pocket? —-> medical education was expensive
