Hey Uzbekistan, would like to come to your country in summer! Information needed

Thanks so much for your insights and tips! Esp the BM one! That one's gonna be very handy if I come to Uzbekistan.

Didn't know about the registration thingy, I've just started researching about Uzbekistan a couple of days ago. And frankly, the thing I want to mess with least is anything related to visas, registrations, permits and the like. Yesterday I've read that crossing the border of Kazakhstan without visa or staying a day longer may mean imprisonment. Scared the sh out of me.

Normally I have a friend in there who should help me a bit, but shouldn't count on that too much anyway. He was the one who told me 2 years ago about enormous levels of corruption, beautiful nature and some other basic facts about your country.

Won't lie, I have a list of countries (two dozens more or less), and I'll go to the one where I can arrange everything ASAP since I want to buy my flight tickets ASAP. That way I can have a better price and know for sure that it's happening. Green light to dream and plan haha I'm no rich foreigner but I do have a budget for flight tickets, humble accomodation and ready to splurge on touristic attractions. However, I'm a typical European, who grew up with a bunch of toys, travels all around Europe, mouthful of chocolate and everything else whatever was reasonable. I've got to the point where Europe bores me, I get annoyed if my 3G connection doesn't change into wifi when I go downstairs, I get annoyed when my train is late by 2 min even though I'm in no hurry... I take everything for granted and even stopped being thankful for some things that I really should be happy to have and be grateful for. Probably sounds lame, but I need a challenge, a change, a difference. And Uzbekistan could be it. When it comes to daily basis, I'd like to live just like Uzbeks as much as possible during my stay in your country. Don't get me wrong, not searching to make big business or anything, but on the one hand.. I could not just travel for over two months. I need to do something useful. On the other hand... that would allow me to know better what is the Uzbek life like. Hence the work part. Do you know if private tutors are common? Helping to catch up during summer for those who're not that good at school? Or those who wish to leave the country soon? I've got several years of experience in tutoring kids-teens-young adults. Do you know what's the average hourly wage they get? By any chance would you know how often to people working illegally (in cases like tutoring privately) get caught in your country? What are the consequences? (I get it that most possible there would be a way out since everything's so corrupt, but I'd like to know the worst case scenario anyway. Don't want to come back without an arm or a leg (ok, hyperbolizing)).

I've learnt (though I have no ideas if that's true) that renting a one room flat in the burbs is 200 dollars, getting fast Internet connection is some 150 dollars, dirt cheap taxis and pretty cheap food (as 5 dollars a meal in not so fancy places), meanwhile the average salary is under 400 dollars a month? I'd probably be in a deep shock, but if those numbers are true... I'd like to try to live a bit in Uzbek style.

By the way, my Russian is very shaky (I can read.. in a very very annoying manner.. very very slowly, but I can; I write a bit faster, but make mistakes when it comes to certain letters; I know basic phrases like to present myself or ask where are you doing; a bunch of nouns that serve for nothing since I know no grammar). Ideally, if I'm going to Uzbekistan, I'll try to learn a couple of grammar rules in order to be able to make some more basic sentences, but doubt I could go farther than that. Otherwise I have similar basics in Arabic, lower intermediate level in Spanish, upper intermediate level in French, and well, fluent in English. Do you think I'll be able to survive in Uzbekistan without much help of my friend/relying upon other people or I better befriend a million of Uzbeks before arrival?
