I've rewatched it some days ago: I think that binge watching helps it, but I liked it much better than I thought.

That's said, the fact that the fictional Blip and the Pandemic happened in the same time it's really odd, but the geopolitical problems in movies can't be compared with the real ones (then the situations are different), and in no way the world was better during the pandemic.

The pandemic add tensions in the geopolitical map, the lost time in these years pushed people to do more after it, and I'm sad to say that too many times it was not for the best.

The 'Blip' was about overpopulation, a completely different problem and still terrorists (like Flashmashers) are not the solution...

I don't know if I've answered you, still cool to reflect on our world through (marvel) movies/series.
