The first two rooms did their job properly, the rooms in the middle had sfx to make a decision with and the last one has the sfx after the 1 way gate which punished you if you didn't let the screen scroll far enough lol.
The red coin where you throw a blue shell get the spiky shellmet, break the block then jump up surprised me. It was a bit confusing at first, especially with the autoscroll. I did interesting things like releasing the spiky shellmet with the blue shell, wearing the blue shell, then throwing the spiky shellmet at the ? block from the side to get the pswitch. And then I was like w/e and just shell jumped off the ? block with the pswitch in it lol. I eventually figured out what to do in the room but I still ended up with a shellmet afterward.
The last few jumps racing the first pswitch was a bit rough, but the whole of the level was very imprecise and the checkpoints would easily keep the level out of super expert.
