That firm is complicit with whatever financial improprieties are going on. It crossed my mind that he may have been providing legal services/favors to people in exchange for discounts on — or free — services and products for his personal use, while using the firm’s resources to conduct those favors or services.

I’m not familiar with PMPED’s terms of employment and procedures, or how attorneys are regulated for that matter. However, I do know that a licensed real estate salesperson can’t conduct business without going through their broker in charge, and they can only have one broker in charge in this state. If I worked for a realty firm, any business that I might conduct regarding real estate has to be run through the company, under the BIC, with the firm taking its cut for all the costs it incurs for me to do legal business (EO insurance, advertising, support and training, office space, etc.).

I also do not believe for one second that his family, Randy especially, was not aware of Alex’s struggles with drugs, opioids or otherwise. I also do not believe that Alex is — or was — the only one with the opioid problem.

I haven’t commented much at all, but I want to know more about the tracts that comprise the Moselle property, such as how they came to acquire it. Was the land acquired as part of a payment deal for representation/fixing in drug-related cases, and are other members of the legal and judicial profession in that area turning a blind eye and protecting large players/family members/friends in drug trade, while targeting the smaller players in their prosecutorial cases in order to give the illusion that they are actually fighting drug distribution?

The reason many aren’t talking in that town, and the surrounding counties, is because the people are either attached to the trade as sellers, users, indirect beneficiaries, or they have an idea of what’s going on and they don’t want to be found (or find their loved ones) beheaded or victim to some other barbaric and heinous crime.
