I might have no health insurance? My dad's fulltime job has been cancelled and thus they won't be paying for our insurance anymore. My Mom has two part time jobs and so they don't pay for her insurance. So our current plan expires by the end of June and it won't be renewed due to my dad's job getting cancelled. DOES THIS MEAN WE'RE SCREWED? We are planning to go on the affordable care act but I don't know if we can sign up until the open enrollment period in December. Can we? This would mean we'd be without insurance for 6 months? What happens if I get seriously inured or need surgery? PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION SERIOUSLY. Thanks in advance.
