Man, if 3 of us are fighting a team and two die but we wipe the team and I get back from gulag to find you've looted my corpse, my ammo, my satchel, and probably my airstrike... You're gonna need to find someone new to play with.

The whole point is in a "team game" as you put it, you should respect your teammates enough to leave their shit for them unless you know you have to move on and they won't have time to come back and pick it up.
