interesting you mention cr, how was it? I'm looking at going there because of super cheap flights there now, but my plan was to just go to coworking spaces in sj (since my living condition isnt good now), literally easier for me to go abroad than figure out how to live temporarily somewhere in the us.

but in thinking this over, it seems like I'm setting myself up for isolation again anyways, with only a plan to work. not into beaches though, hiking yes.

the other problem with hostels though, is sleeping, people always come in druink at night, and I wake up from the lightest of noises, somehow it used to be better in vietnam after a year, with all the traffic and whatnot desensitizing me.
