How to Save a Planet - Breaking Buildings’ Addiction to Fossil Fuels

I've been trying to figure out why this podcast doesn't do it for me, and I think I've figured it out:

The episodes cover some interesting topics (I liked the episodes about the former coal town and the people who buy vintage coolants), they are neither informative nor entertaining enough for their length.

  • It doesn't feel like there's a lot of chemistry or charisma from the hosts. A lot of the banter lands flat, and i'm kind of just waiting for them to stop chuckling and get back to the point

  • While the topics are interesting, they don't go very deep into them. Instead, they drag out certain points and over-explain more obvious points (like the nuclear episode where they really went on explaining the cold war, which most of us are pretty aware of)

I like the premise and I hope they do well but I'm gonna pass unless they change it up a bit.

TLDR - IMO, the podcast needs to be shorter, more informative, or more fun
