Thanks for taking time to reply. I do get very heavy periods, so am guessing my lining is shedding ok. I plan to get a second opinion though when I can see another doctor. How thick was your lining if you don't mind my asking? My doctor didn't do any biopsies and didn't seem too concerned, but I was 13mm about a week before my period was due. From what I've read, that is definitely thicker than normal, but not so far out of the normal range to be too worrisome just yet.

It's not a lubrication issue. He only feels this during certain times of the month, and it is the same time consistebtly each month so I think it must be something to do with me. The doctor found no evidence of fibroids, and my thyroid etc. was normal. It seems I may be estrogen dominant, but that still doesn't really explain things. I do feel my cervix before my period and it is low and hard, but I don't know how far out a normal cervix juts. Maybe mind is extra large or something? Or maybe there is something else going on?

I know there is no way to really know without seeing a doctor (we just moved, waiting for the health insurance to kick in). I just thought maybe someone here would have some ideas. Google searches aren't really giving me much to go on.
