Kept up with Zanki from early M1. Matured about 80% of the deck, saw every card at least 3x I’d say. Wasn’t great with practice q’s, but I did go HAM on making sure I knew everything in that damn deck. As a result, I didn’t start dedicated at 240 like some people here but I was definitely happy with my start point (220), and I didn’t anymore defeated than normal after the real thing than a tough uworld day (was averaging 75-80% in last two weeks of dedicated times random).

I’d say totally 100% worth it. There were plenty of “gimmes” that showed up on cards I’d matured and hadn’t seen in months which just popped into my head (at least 10 - and they weren’t necessarily obscure facts or anything, some were truly just easy, but that was 10 less questions to waste mental effort on). If you’re keeping up with Zanki and understanding the cards, practice questions become a lot easier - and the ones you’re getting wrong are easier to understand too - you already have he vocabulary in your head, it just kinda needs fo be rearranged a little bit.
