just another Tuesday for the camera guy

Redbull 400 for this specific type of event. But if you're intereseted in those kind of thing, that's part of a broader genre of sport : Skyrunning.

Relatively new category of sport since it only started 25-30 years ago in the french/italian alps. A bunch of nutjobs who were getting bored of climbing Mont Blanc every two days by walking, decided to see who could climb it the faster. And since they liked running in those atrocious condition so much, they decided to make it a real thing with offical records and competitions.

Nowadays, Skryrunning is basically climbing very steep stuff as fast as you can. It's still mainly mountains, but you also have stair climbing. Any building higher than 100m will do the job, the empire state building, or the Eiffel Tower held competition. And that redbull event while not officialy affiliated, gather all the best competitors of skyrunning.

But the most active and prestigious category is the : Vertical Kilometer. 1000m of altitude gained, in less than 5km. Said otherwise, 1000 vertical meter on an average steep of 20°, and at least 5% of the distance must be at 33%. It's already impressive for any random dude to achieve that in a day of hiking, and those guys do it in less than half an hour.

Look for any content about Kilian Jornet, he's the ultimate god of the sport, it's stupidly impressive how good he is.
