Malik needs to do something outside of football. I think you have an intelligent person there but he wastes so much energy trying to prove how much of a hard ass he is when the reality is far from that. I shudder to think what kind of person he will become if the temper is not reeled in.

Emmit Gooden seems like he could be a train wreck when he comes face to face with real adversity in D1 college football. You blow games for the Vols with penalties and there will be hell to pay. Academically it will be a miracle if he keeps his head above water.

JB is what he is. College football coaches in general do not come off as well rounded individuals and he is no exception. When you are in the bubble of football for most of your life you're going to have a warped view of things. Emotional maturity is zonked, personal life is a dumpster fire and anger is always something you carry. That doesn't make quality men.
