The Lie We Live

"Now, let us master living in joy". I find this to be a wonderful goal and suggestion. So we shall. What scenes shall we create? How can we enter into joy? How shall we define joy in physicality by living joy?

On the other hand, the vast majority of the present tense language in this video painted, from my perspective, very very grim, twisted, and sometimes flatly erroneous scenes.

Example: "There is no food in trees, no fresh water in streams" No, there is food on trees. There is fresh water in streams. For this, I am thankful.

The future tense language was dark, as well.

"The wars of the future will have no winners."

As such, where did the moment to moment scenes and present tense language of this video take you in your present moment from moment to moment?

And did you notice the line: "We are the writers, this is your story."? Frankly, I did not like much of the writing in this video at all. I write my own story, thank you very much. At the very least, I choose to imbibe to the best of my ability writing and storytelling that jives well with my own creativity, my own sense of awe, wonder, etc.---language that paints scenes and images that I prefer and appreciate. Scenes that I would feel comfortable gladly entering into. Much of the present tense language in this video? Flatly and unequivocally rejected. Coming from a perspective that values moment to moment experience and awareness, I don't give a damn what the overall context and structure of the video is.

No one has my permission to suggest, at any moment, in any way, shape, or form what my present moment or future moments hold without my presently concious awareness and ability to evaluate what is presented to me. This is how I choose to approach life. I exist. I feel. I am. I may even be eternal. I choose health, wealth, happiness, and peace. Let it be known.

"Fear is the anticipation of the occurrence of evil." -Aristotle

I find that the following video utilizes present tense language excellently:
