Looking for some encouragement

Bethany Christian Services? Oh vey! I'm lucky. My life has been a blessing of luck. While me and my wife were searching for adoption we went to a ton of info meetings. I'm a cynical person and started to tear apart all the agencies in my head we visited.

I started to tear apart them at their religious level first. They ask me to provide a church reference, I removed them. If they told me to be ready at ever hour of the night because a birth mother could call me. Let's be honest. I'm spend about 2 hours of my day in the bathroom pooping, peeing, shower and Internet. I could receive the call of a lifetime? Fuck off! Why am I even paying you?

Bethany was that for me. A cattle Jam. Me and my wife paid extra. One who gauranteed they would take care of the birth mother for the rest of her life. There are just some agencies out there that DO take better care of their clients. The client is the birth mother. Me and my wife debated two agencies at the very end and I let her win and she was absolutely right in picking them.

I was cynical and that went to her, but she was able to see what I couldn't see vs the agency I wanted. Im very sorry for your experience. I wish it upon no one else, because I could not fathom the heartache you've went through.

I do believe private adoption minus a church is the best way to go. To filter your agencies and consider the cost vs waiting longer and being dissapointed. I wanted my child's birth mother taken care of for most. I believed that's what attracted women because they pay nothing.

I'm sorry. I do not believe Bethany Christian Services is an agency that doesn't deal in mass corralling adoption. I wish you the best.
