Not denying Thor is and was the stronger man, but shaw isn't really getting stronger. I guess I could rephrase it as shaw has likely reached his competitive peak, because I don't see him getting stronger in years to come, largely due to his age.

His mark bell podcast appearance was a bit disappointing to hear as a fan... but aside from the questionable claim he didn't realize the squats were timed, I feel he simply discussed how he felt about his performance and didn't play down Eddie or thors success, nor act like he deserved to win. The man is real competitive, he's not gonna just say "yeah they were stronger I had no chance" sure he's overly prideful but not a sore loser
