I wasn’t into coheed during second stage. I got into them on Keeping Secrets. This will most likely be an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely cannot listen to second stage. Sonically it is just the worst produced album. I understand they were young and could only pay for so much. But I have no nostalgic connection to it, didn’t listen to it when it was released, and don’t follow the comics. I have really tried to venture into it and it just hurts to listen to. I love Devil in Jersey city, but that’s as much as I can handle.

At no point do I question why anybody else loves it though. I totally get it, I just missed the train I guess.
