I disagree with this actually as someone who used a G502 for nearly 2 years. In games like Apex where tracking is key, you want a lightweight mouse. G502 is well over 110g, it’s way too heavy for apex and all of the extra buttons are useless (except the side buttons mouse 4 and 5, which are on nearly every mouse). A GPX would serve you well for nearly any grip style, personally I much prefer the shape of the razer viper mini so I’d recommend a Razer Viper V2 pro. As for keyboard, get a mechanical with linear switches. I’d strongly recommend the Keychron V2 with red switches if you don’t want to custom build one. It’s a 65% board which gives you tons of space for your mouse still, and it’s a very reasonable price point for its build quality. For mousepad, you could spend a ton on an Artisan pad but much cheaper pads like the aqua control plus feel/work exactly the same at well under half the cost.

TLDR; Keyboard - Keychron V2 w/ red switches Mouse - Logitech G Pro X Superlight or Razer Viper V2 pro (shape preference depending on what grip you use) Mousepad - Aqua Control Plus (black, the white one is a little slower than the black, I feel the black is perfect for tracking FPS games like apex)
