The more I play the worse I get, any suggestions?

No, this is not normal. Two months? If I had flippers for hands I could learn to juggle balls in two months.

Your problem is not a physical problem, it's a mental problem. You're not sure if what you're trying to do is even possible. Your focus is weak. You lack confidence.

Your problem is not your hands or your hand eye coordination. You can already hit the ball normally so reflex speed is not your problem. Your only problem is that you're not trying hard enough.

If I asked you to balance a marble on a clipboard you wouldn't ask me for help, you would just do it. If I asked you to roll the ball around in circles you might fail, but you would never doubt that it's possible or wonder if you possess the ability. You would just try harder. You would get a feel for the ball, and make the necessary fine adjustments. Your touch would lighten up, your wrist movements would become more soft and subtle.

But now you try a pinball machine and ask me if something is wrong? Well, it's definitely not your hands if that's what you're asking. And it's not the machine. What you're trying to do is well within the capabilities of your body, I assure you. You just need to try harder.
