Your ideology is to gloss over relevant information so that you can come to conclusions that are comfortable to you, rather than accurate. Your positions are grossly ignorant. We have science for this! You can't just look at statistics and say "My conclusion is X". That's not how this works! You have to look at how the data was obtained, for what purpose it was obtained, how it's presented, what variables and controls are accounted for in the acquisition of that data. Then you have to look at cultural, social, and economic factors that lead to any conclusion the data may support. After that, you still have to pluck data from multiple unbiased sources to verify and finally you have to do a sanity check to make sure that you didn't mess something up prior to that point. You've done exactly 0 of that. If you had, you would know that the data does not support that conclusion. Your ideology is lazy, poorly supported, unscientific and anthropoligcally and sociologically ignorant.

It's not that the people in question weren't necessarily bad people. It's totally possible that they were really shitty people. It's entirely possible that martin was a scary teenage criminal. Or we could cut the right-wing spin bullshit and recall that he was a Human first, a result of his lifetime experiences second, and an organism responding to a unique set of circumstances last and that our system of law (since you seem dead set on adhering strictly to it) does not hold summary execution as a justifiable punishment for committing a crime.

I'm identifying a core issue. You. You're a core issue. You and people like you. There are no boogeymen being blamed. Just real people with ridiculously ignorant viewpoints that they view as valid. You do no analysis, no research, nothing that could even be remotely considered thinking by any real standard of cognition, and then roll out your half-baked immature ideas for the world to see like a toddler regurgitating its lunch. We're already answering questions about causes and what we can do to fix things. One thing is to not, in blanket fashion, declare that an entire ethnicity is composed of criminals, because (and if you'd bothered to do a shred of thinking or exploratory work into the subject) that declaration leads to greater arrest and incarceration rates for that particular ethnicity REGARDLESS OF COMPARABLE CRIME RATES. Read that again if you need to. You probably need to. The fact that there is a meme for black criminals but not black scholars, despite the fact that a far greater percentage of that population (between the ages of 18 and 24 ONLY) are in college than in prison. That should trouble you, but it doesn't. The fact that there is an entirely insular and circular feedback loop for information and impressions on this subject that is impenetrable by members of the subject group exists should trouble you, but it doesn't. The fact that you somehow think you're a special and unique snowflake that singularly has the clarity of mind, wealth of information, and great skill at correctly interpreting it ON ALL OF THE INTERNET when this subject and interrelated subjects are not only the professional purview of some of us, but perhaps even the main subject of our academic studies should fucking bother you, but it doesn't.

And all of this should surprise me, but it doesn't. It should surprise me that you, the average person, are bad at statistics, and bad at causality, bad at game theory, bad at systems thinking, and even bad at ethics and morality, but it doesn't. Your level of thinking was the rationale behind eugenics. That worked out great, right? Because human rights, who cares, amiright?

Maybe you're not a racist. Maybe you're just so ridiculously cognitively unskilled and academically uninformed as to be easily mistaken for someone filled with hatred as opposed to someone empty of information and basic intellectual curiosity.
