Moving to Dundee soon

I've lived part time in one if the multis at the bottom of the hill for all my life and its really not pleasant, the flats themselves are nice and spacious with amazing views, a balcony and are very cheap to heat. Its just the people that bring the whole aera down, with music, arguing and banging to all hours of the morning and now I've recently had my ceiling come in from someone who left there sink running upstairs. Every third person you see walking around the aera is on drugs which is depressing. It feels bleak at the moment with styleless newbuilds and run down kebab and barber shops running the hole way up but it's slowly getting better. The problem with Dundee is that its best days seem to be behind it, there's the redevelopment down at the waterfront which is great but the rest of the city is being left to wrack and ruin. And after 6 o'clock its pretty much dead. I enjoy traveling around scotland but when I come back here it just feels dead, your options for things to do just run out so fast compared with Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen. I know these are bigger cities but it annoys me that Dundee is being left behind with no real push to change that from either the council or its people
