Why I still think TIVO is the best device for cord cutters

Peaked at your post history and you mentioned using an Apple TV with your Roamio. As others have already mentioned the Apple TV does this wonderfully with its own TV app; Hulu, Prime Video, Disney+, Showtime, HBO, etc. are all supported with the "Up Next" queue. It will track the shows you watch, your progress in them, and open the appropriate app to stream.

Netflix isn't integrated in "Up Next", but its shows are still cataloged in the TV app. If you ask Siri "play season six episode one of BoJack Horseman" it will open the app and play it. And if you go to the Shameless page in the TV app, it shows that seasons 1-9 are available on Netflix.
