Murray Rothbard and Henry George

George had the right idea but the wrong execution. The issue is land distribution, not assessing property for the sake of raising tax revenues. A lot of modern day Georgists seem to have gotten lost on the trees of that forest

All we need is a Writ of Sale. Any land of any description may be docketed with the local Courthouse on a writ of sale to the Sheriff. The sheriff's deed is subject to all standing claims and interests, and cannot be used to get possession by force.

THIS means that all open amd unused or abandoned land (and buildings) are now up for sale at any time. First come first serve real simple.

It will also produce a lot od revenue, over time as the public domain gets privatized. That's the whole point of Georgeism, to publicize the private domain which is actually public.
