Trans people of Reddit, what questions do you wish people would just stop asking?

This is exactly it, I'm not transgender but I have a friend who wants to transition to a man and they don't like it when people only recognise them as 'transgender' because it makes them feel more like people see them as something inbetween than the man they want to be and it makes them feel as if they aren't really being accepted. Everytime they get themselves down about it and they feel like they have to introduce themselves as transgender I stop them right there and say "no need to do that, you can just say that you are a man." Gender dysphoria is a real issue that deeply affects people, they don't want to be seen as both or inbetween genders. Usually if they are a female who wants to become male they absolutely do not want to associate themselves with feminine things. Same with a male wanting to become female. Which is why I dont understand all of those people who think that dying their hair pink and blue and wearing a trans flag shirt that don't believe that people actually need to experience the feeling of being a stranger in your own body and sticking a bloody flag on their shirt without seeing a medical professional and actually being prescribed hormones makes them transgender.

Sorry for the rant, I just feel like people have smeared the name of actual transgender people and caused it to be something people don't take as seriously.
