How do you have the buttons mapped on the arcade sticks? Looks somewhat similar to mine (see here), though mine is probably an unusual layout. I deliberated on it for a while before settling on this. Didn't really set it up specifically for fighting games, just what I found to be the most comfortable and suitable for all kinds of games. I also programmed the Star button to the "Swap" command in the ultimate software, so I can swap any two buttons at a time on the fly in case I come across a game that would necessitate it.

Also a word of warning, I used the Sanwa JLF stick (with octagonal gate and over-sized actuator) and Crown/Samducksa SDB-202 MX buttons, and it wasn't really as plug-n-play as I was expecting. The screw type buttons I don't think are meant to be compatible, I would recommend sticking with snap-in buttons. I didn't have enough room for the screw ring to rotate, so instead I had to find a position where the ring could line-up flat(ish) inside and then screw the button down into the ring instead of the other way around, and even still one or two buttons were just too close to a little wall of plastic in the case that wasn't going to fit at all so I actually had to melt some of the plastic away to get them to fit. And then when I tried to close it up something must have been sticking out too far and it wasn't going to close, I'm still not sure if it was the stick or the buttons or something I did with the wiring. I tried for a while and couldn't figure it out so I ended up just taking out one of the weighted plates inside the case to give it more space. Then that added another challenge, because the screws that hold those down were now too long so they wouldn't go all the way down, and the weights now wobbled around. So I had to find some washers that could make up the difference in thickness. It's not really pretty inside but it works. I had to add some electrical tape to keep the plates from moving side-to-side.

I'm also considering unplugging the LED boards since neither of the two patterns it lights up match with my button layout (I haven't actually marked the buttons on the unit itself, that is just for the photo).
