My first attempt at Pozole

Lollll, “we.” Who are you? idk if OP is Mexican or not, but you do not speak for all of us here who are. I know Mexicans who top their posolé with lettuce instead of cabbage. Do you take issue with that too? OP wanted to have it with avocado (which is Mexican in origin) and they did. And I bet it was bomb, too.

It’s one thing to be a purist about food, but it’s another to say, “We don’t do _, Mexicans don’t use _.” You should know that Mexican cuisine can vary a lot region to region. The same dish can have so many different variants depending on where you go, so it’s weird that you’d act this way towards someone for using something as simple as an avocado as a SIDE.

“I like the original.” Then make “the original,” lmaoo.
