Pres is theer to create eccentric situation for comic relief and serving as a role model. Naoto doesn't need mature woman, he needs someone who will push him out of his comfort zone and constantly motivate to grow, because if left alone for too long – he would just go back to his shell. Him and Pres been together longer than with Nagatoro, but you can see who made more meanigful impact.

I'm not saying Pres is a horrible match for him, but as of now she's a character who is always there to give advice, but generally too busy chasing her own goals. So either Naoto would've need to find different way to grow if he wants to keep up, or Pres character would need to majorly change.
