I went to a smaller public elementary school (40-50 kids in my grade) up until fourth grade. Then in fifth grade I transferred to a private school where I went until eighth grade, during which I socially transitioned. Ninth grade, I transferred back into the public school system, and went to the high school that my elementary school (and like eight others)fed into (around 450 kids in my grade). I initially had some issues passing, but because I pre t not because anyone recognized me- I think maybe one or two kids connected the dots over the course of high school but I don’t think they really gave a shit, I never got outed by them or anything. Unless it’s a small school, or you have a really uncommon last name, you’re probably fine.
