I’m really sorry about what happened to you.

And you and I are now at an impasse because we both know how this argument goes. We can’t reconcile the need for both sides to have their justice without trusting only the evidence, convicting the defendant on nothing, or just resolving the damn thing by flipping a coin and giving the party in the wrong a chance of losing something.

I know you’re not stupid. I know you know this isn’t a simple matter with a simple fix (and for the record, this app isn’t it). I’m just sick of people acting like any objection to an accusation should be dismissed.

I don’t mean to compare our injustices, but it’s pretty terrifying to have that accusation leveled at you when you know there’s very little you can do in a vacuum of evidence.
