Need some Help!

Ok, Food and Booze:

My favorite restaurant at the moment is Driftwood Cocktail and Eatery which is downtown on 5th street. Julia's Kitchen is ok too. The food is pretty good. The service is pretty bad sometimes though. Someone else recommended Obed and Isaacs, but it is super wack. Mediocre beer and the food is all microwaved. Their beer garden is super awesome in the summer though. It feels like a place I used to go to in Austin Texas. Every says you have to have a horseshoe, but it's not something you are gonna want to eat more than once or twice a year. So Darcy's is a good spot for that. It's very midwestern in terms of giant people eating giant plates of super fattening bar food. American Harvest on the west side is amazing. You should definitely check that out.

My usual spot when I am downtown to rage is Lucid. It is the closest thing we have to a nightclub in Springfield. Downtown doesn't really get fun until about 12:30 or 1am though. Floyds is another great bar across the street. It's much more laid back than most spots downtown. It's like being on the set of Cheers. I would avoid Marly's next-door to Lucid. It is super ghetto at the moment (the bar scene is very cyclical in springfield. One month one bar is all bros chest-bumping each other, the next month that same bar will be a meeting of the crips and bloods, the next month it will be dead and whatever bar was super dead the month before will be slammed). Some chicks got in a fight at Marly's two fridays ago and one tried to run away and ended up getting stabbed to death. Soooo. . . Marly's is out. Anyways, Craft Beer Bar down the road is pretty awesome if you like beer. They have over 200 craft beers. And no one has died there! The Curve Inn a few miles from downtown is Springfield's Saint Elmo's Fire. It's a blast especially if a band is playing.

Regarding apartments, just search this sub for other posts. People ask that question like once a week so there is already some good info on this sub.
