Doesn't really seem like you have anything substantial on your side other than that you don't like t_d. I've shown you other subreddits that act the same and other subreddits that I think are more detrimental to rational debate on Reddit. All you seem to have is you don't like t_d because they ban people that break their rules. Rules that are similar to what other subreddits have had for years.

If you want to debate it show how t_d is different than SRS. Or how it's had more negative influence on political discussion than long time circlejerks like /r/politics. It seems to me when the main (and until recently default) subreddit for discussing politics is an anti-Republican circlejerk that has a more negative impact on rational political discussion on Reddit than whatever impact you are seeing from t_d.

Do you have any evidence of a change in discussion or impact from t_d other than that they banned you from breaking their rules?
