New USACE Employee Confused

I am frustrated by lack of support or direction from my direct supervisor. I have one senior GS13 Program Manager who is a god send. I can ask him anything and he is super helpful and said to me "People get angry but this isn't emergency work, 1/2 of it is managing egos". The problem with USACE is that its so complex on the PM side (pre construction work) and them tossing 4 inter connected massive projects at a new guy is just so counter intuitive to anything I ever did in plumbing/mechanical or emergency management PM where I use to work.

They say they trust me and that "I'll just figure things out" but not knowing what any of the next steps are day to day just makes it feel like I'm in elementary school. NOTHING is wrote down correctly and yesterday I was chastised for creating a simple spread sheet that listed my projects and expected award dates and P2 numbers. Most of my issues stem from 4 major issues 1.) Lack of leadership by direct supervisor, 2.)Lack of any sort of consistent training or onboarding and 3.) People who think that giving you information somehow diminishes their standing 4.) Coworkers need to micromanage me and tell me that I should essentially harass people before the deadline they give me...example. I send you an email with a suspense date of a due out by say NEXT friday, 2 days later this guy wants me to bug the person I sent the email to. It's baffling, if my expected due out is next week WHY BOTHER THEM, it just makes me look foolish
