NVidia Tegra X1 Set Top Box

I'll respond to a few things, but I think you are a bit too offended to really have a constructive conversation; and I think you probably believe I'm not offended enough... or that I lick Google's heels and bow to the US Government and their corporate cronies.

Eh.. let's clear something up right now. I am not at all offended. I can use strong language at times because I like to be to the point. But I am not offended. And it's not that I think you should be more offended, I'm just saying that in reference to people talking about how ouya has a 'bad reputation' compared to some of the shit that the major companies do, well, those people need to get their priorities straight is all that i'm saying.

The "User Experience" bend is not bullshit and fluff. I actually have to help coach people through a number of apps and basic OS features because it is not easy to naturally figure out unless you are a tech-head.

I hear you. It's not so much that I have a problem with a 'user experience' concerns. Right now I'm running elementaryos which is probably the most user friendly version of linux you can find. I love simple, easy to use design. But the thing is, I also don't want software to get in my way of what I want to do. In the case of apple and a lot of android phones, I feel like this 'user experience' shit often used to justify locked down systems. or over-simplified crap were the consumer is treated like a child with an expensive toy. Rather than a closed OS that further obfuscates how the software actually works, I would prefer a basic OS that requires me to build on top of it.

IP and Copyright are not entirely bullshit despite your anti-government, anti-coporation bends. I have a large number of artist and developer friends, and do a bit of stuff myself. To have my efforts be pillaged and utilized by others with no recompense and not even attribution is pretty appalling. So I'm gonna call bullshit on you for that one.

Eh, again. I'm not really anti-corporation or anti-government. Just because I criticize them does not mean that I am against their existence. If there is no degree of criticism than there is no real criticism at all because you can simply write me off as anti-corporate or anti-government. I remind you that ouya is a corporation, and I am supporting and defending them.

Furthermore, I can understand why IP is important. But the emphasis on the importance of IP in the West is totally blown out of proportion. Copyright is like a century and a half for corporations and life plus 70 years for an individual. That's absolutely ridiculous. The problem that I have with IP is that, and this happens a lot in the history of the world, our technology has developed faster than our concepts.
