The guy still has a completely valid point no matter if he is a nazi or jesus christ himself. Someones post history doesnt discredit his arguement.

Which I provided a counter argument to. His post history is only relevant in that he's not just arguing this for the sake of free speech; he has an agenda.

People need to grow thicker skin and not let pixels on a screen(that can be removed by muting) decide whether they can enjoy a game or not.

Sure, ideally this would be the case, however that's not how it actually is. Words can have a dramatic impact on mental health. If words don't get to you, that's great, I'm happy for you, but many people have visceral reactions to topics of rape, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, etc. that are often difficult for people to manage because it's deep seated, especially so for those with traumatic experiences related to those topics. It's not people being weak or willingly obtuse, it's a real mental health effect that deserves to be considered.

We're talking about the kind of language that causes people to hate themselves, want to hurt themselves, or worse, and the people using this language know this. They masquerade around like they're innocently defending freedoms but it's so clearly not about that for them. It is purely used to harm. It has no place in regular discourse, and the free speech defense doesn't apply because it's a private company, not a government body. If we were talking about censorship on a national level? I'd be with you. But we're not, we're taking about a videogame, that children play.

I make no apology for wanting to prevent poisonous, hateful mindsets from being given room to breath and grow.
