You say that as though we Hindus don't do the same.

(I know this isn't in the same category of seriousness, but I'm trying to make an analogy here okay?)

I'm sure you've watched anime, do you know what happened to Record of Ragnarok? It was banned just because it didn't portray Shivji accurately. Since when did people start carrying about what a cartoon shows on TV? Like, we have Gadget Guru Ganesha - which is a show for fucking retards. We're collectively saying that is better than what RoR shows. Whereas in both cases, nobody should think that the gods portrayed there are how they actually really are - nobody thinks Lord Ganesha (god for wisdom) is a childish prankster who plays around with kids as Doraemon does. Why do they think Shivaji will have a 'negative' impact upon the actual god's image in youngsters' minds?

A similar thing happened with Kali in Dota 2 and SMITE because her character design looked like a "porn star" (https://www.firstpost.com/tech/news-analysis/religious-groups-protest-game-for-its-depiction-of-kali-3603945.html) Like wtf, have they (We Hindus) seen her actual depictions in our scriptures? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali) She's literally topless with some convenient censorship.

You want to be religious, well tell me how does a person who thinks "damn, Kali's hot, I'd fuck her" after playing SMITE affects you in any way, shape, or form (forget the fact that he's messed up in the head, and that karma will take care of it) tell me how do his thoughts hurt you or any of exactly if he doesn't preach about that thought? I dosn't right? Yet we'll still burn him at the stake.

We look at other religious groups and foreign people outside of our culture and preach to them publically about what should and shouldn't be. Yet ourselves filled with it.

And you might say "well not all of us think that way", or "I actually enjoyed Shiva's fight" or something along those lines. But then the same applies to other religious/cultural groups (including Muslims) - and making fun of them like this and trying to stand your ground when someone says otherwise is on par with racism.

I'm not saying what some Muslims are doing is not wrong - I'm saying that we're literally doing the same exact thing to a degree (higher or lower depending on the case). And don't say "well it's because Muslims do bad stuff, that we ourselves need to bad stuff in order to the right thing" - the analogies I gave are completely unrelated to Muslims, they had nothing to do in the matter and we still blemished those companies.

Now, keeping the analogy aside, I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter.
