It’s unfortunate that they don’t seem to be considering a hybrid system for classes which can be accommodated. I believe giving the students and staff the option of returning to campus this term would be advantageous for the university. I know some professors have already set up their courses this way which I found to make sense. I felt a tremendous weight off knowing that I could attend lectures in person once allowed or attend via zoom if I felt uncomfortable or was sick. Other courses/instructors seem to be really excited about getting 200+ students into a lecture hall with no option for remote viewing once back to in person. It’s a very confusing time and I feel like the all or nothing mentality is causing me (and probably the community) unnecessary stress.
