Need help from the UBreddit community to make sure there is some accountability for the people involved in her sexual assault.

I'm not really sure what to say. I respect that she wants to share her story. No issue with that. My only point was if the call is to hold UB accountable and make change, the legal route is probably the most effective way to go.

I'm a survivor of rape as well. This is why I advocate for using the legal system. While it's not likely that the perpetrator will be held accountable, I found that for myself as a victim it was important to speak up for and defend myself. My rapist was arrested on other charges, but not rape. It prevented him from becoming someone who had too much power in society in general.

However the student deals with it is up to her. There's no right answer. I just thought it was important to mention the "proper" channel. I only wish the best to her
