Can chamomile tea cause withdrawals?

Was the chamomile joint like relaxing like a weed joint at all? (nevermind if you haven't smoked weed) but just curious if it could potentially satisfy an urge to smoke weed in a pinch. I have a family member who may have some probation stuff coming up and have been trying to think of things to suggest them that they can use to relax instead of weed and alcohol since they will probably be getting drug tests so may not be able to drink or smoke weed for a while.

That said I don't think it should cause withdrawal anything I have read about it describes it as being a pretty mellow herb so just don't really see it doing that. I was even in a psych ward for a bit and there was no shortage of chamomile tea, I figure they restocked it every night after they put us all to bed. Seriously all of us who smoked weed or drank outside of the hospital were just drinking tons of chamomile tea at first I thought it seemed silly they had so much chamomile tea but turns out its even more great when you don't have the option to smoke a bowl or have a beer. But yeah I figure if chamomile tea was going to give you withdrawls they would not let mental patients drink cup after cup of it.
