Overwhelmed; need advice.

Honestly, I hear people say things like this all the time.

My app will be the next Facebook/Uber/Tinder, I just need someone to build it for me!!

You have to face many problems, some of which I'm sure you've already thought about.

How will you monetize?

How will your product stand out from an oversaturated market?

Why would a customer want to use your product instead of someone else's?

How much time, effort, money, and sanity are you willing to devote to this project? Even if you're developing it yourself, you will still need to pay yourself enough to eat. If you want to have a popular application, marketing costs have to be factored in. If your service involves GPS dating, you'll have some server side costs that aren't necessarily related to Android you have to determine as well. etc. etc. etc.

What kind of technical (programming, project planning, marketing, etc.) talent and skillsets are required to prevent your project from joining the many (over 90%) failures out there?

Why value would your company bring to a larger company that would incentivize an acquisition? This is the big one. If your end goal is to be bought out, you need to answer why a larger company would want to buy you out. Will it be because of the amazing groundbreaking technology that either a novice programmer or contract developer has written? Will it be the idea that is very similar to many household names out there? Will it be to acquire all the free customers that won't be paying them a monthly charge?

That said, I don't know much about building a business. It's a very different skillset from building an application. If you wish to learn application development, I can only recommend what has worked for me, but that involves years of school, hours daily in front of a computer coding, and building many different things. It's not exactly the "make an app, sell to Google, retire" plan you have.
