once, I went to Greece with friends. We rented a car and drove to an Airbnb in a small mountain town. In a 24h period, we managed to get a flat twice. Despite verifying the rented car before leaving.

So, after everything was fixed and back to being dandy, I was hanging on the patio of the Airbnb and placed a call to let my mom know how we were doing. I told her about our call troubles and because I go in detail, the phone call lasted an hour. Well, my friends - who were travelling with me, lived the snafus with me, did not need a recap and had hopefully better things to do - just sat in patio, listened on my call the entire time and laughed their ass off. Apparently, I'm a story teller. who knew?

For 20 minutes, I would tell the story of how we got lost and destroyed a tire twice in a town where no one spoke our language and while we could only say "Good morning", "Good evening", "Please" and "Thank you" in Greek.
