Cherry Picking & Other Logical Fallacies

But your post is based on a logical fallacy, question begging. You are starting with an assumption you claim as truth, that you simply can’t know is a truth. Your post relies on the assumption that police STILL believe every single thing they said in every press conference since 2017 and that evidence hasn’t caused them to change their minds about the crime. You can’t prove that. Hell, they said they have changed directions. Doesn’t mean when they changed directions it was to the klines but it certainly means that your primary assumption is false.

If police tell us 12 things they believe are true and relevant, then later believe only 8 of these things to still be true, it’s not cherry picking to only use the 8 facts and discount the 4. It’s what you are supposed to do. Follow the evidence. You argument proposes that law enforcement can’t adapt ideas as they get new evidence. That’s silly.

Going as far as saying the klines “just don’t know the area” is even worse. Unless you are a Kline, how could you know that? It’s 30-40 min from Peru to Delphi. Delphi advertises the trails. I know a lot about the area with an hour of my house. TK has lived in Peru his whole life, how would he NOT know Delphi?
