Physicality of the mind

I believe in souls. I see brains as the physical containers of these souls. Kind of like how CDs have music in them, brains have our souls in them or at least affect them some day, and also the other way around. Some CDs are damaged, and thus the music can't be played or it is played with glitches and stops. That doesn't mean that all CDs are defective, some CDs where damaged by their owners, or by something in their environment, like dust or light. However some CDs are created defective as well. Either way the CDs have to be repaired differently to be able to play music. The music is still there, the immaterial is still there. But the CD has been damaged by its environment or it was created improperly in some more rare cases and the music is hard to play. The melody, the beat, the harmony, the drums, the guitar and the words of the singer are all still there, the CD has the problem. The soul is free, the problem is purely in the organ.

I don't want to replace conventional therapy with spirituality, but I do believe in spiritual stuff, I just think people who are anti vaxx and use essential oils and crystals or whatever give spirituality a bad name. I think recovery for me (and for a lot of other people with endogenous problems) is like this: Therapy + medication + spirituality/God. I can't recover with just therapy, I need medical help as well since my problems appeared as early as 4 years old and I was suicidal even at that age. I also use spirituality cause it's a tremendous boost but I can't recover with just that. My two cents.
